How Taken Lamisil comes as a tablet to take orally. It is usually taken once a day for 6 weeks for fingernail fungus and once a day for 12 weeks for toenail fungus. Take Lamisil exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Your fungus may not be completely cured until a few months after you finish taking Lamisil.
